Steps to becoming a Board Approved Supervisor

The training model for supervisors developed by STAP in 2004 is now the gold standard by which other supervision training and accreditation programs are measured against.

Part 1: Knowledge Assessment

A comprehensive online learning module improved over 21 years to provide you with foundational knowledge and exam.

Part 2:  Skills Training Workshop

Two-day online or in person workshop focused on integrating supervisors’ knowledge and skills for a better supervision. 

Part 3: Competency-Based Evaluation

Supervisory skills are assessed by experienced evaluators from a recorded session with a supervisee.
